Spring Break Reading Challenge

Spring Break Reading Challenge

What is it?

The Spring Break Reading Challenge encourages children to read throughout spring break and track their progress using Beanstack.

How to use Beanstack

Who is it for?

Children ages 3-5 living in Osceola County who have not entered kindergarten.

Get started here!

When will it take place?

March 9 - 16

During this week, we encourage you to read with your little one and log the amount of time you spent reading on Beanstack. At the end of the challenge, the Osceola Reads team will look for the little reader with the most minutes read and award them with a new Amazon Fire Tablet.

And for the first time, our friends at Osceola Magic will gift each participant of the challenge a FREE ticket to one of their games!

Where will it take place?

The best thing about our reading challenges is they can happen anywhere! Your child can read anywhere and track the progress using Beanstack!

Why have a reading challenge?

We want to encourage our little readers to read over spring break and promote reading in our community!

We know that early reading plays a big part in future reading and school success, so we are looking to help create a community of readers! Reading with your child will also model the importance of literacy.

How to get started?

Create a free account on Beansatck to start tracking your little reader's reading.
