Winter Break Reading Challenge

What is it?

We get it! Keeping your kids engaged during the holiday season can be tough, but Osceola Reads is here to help. We want to continue to encourage our little readers to read with a challenge using Beanstack.

Who is it for?

Children ages 3-5 living in Osceola County who have not entered kindergarten.

When will it take place?

December 19-January 2

During this time, the Osceola Reads Team will be looking for the little readers with the highest overall usage logged on Beanstack during specific periods to award some great prizes!

Where will it take place?

The best thing about our reading challenges is they can happen anywhere! Your child can read anywhere and track progress using Beanstack!

Why have a reading challenge?

We want to encourage our little readers to read throughout the winter break and promote reading in our community!

We know that early reading plays a big part in future reading and school success, so we are looking to help create a community of readers! Reading with your child will also model the importance of literacy.

How to get started?

Sign up for our newsletter to stay in the know, start reading and track your progress on Beanstack!
